国际货币基金组织(IMF)于北京时间本日(4月6日)早间发布了一份官方公报，在公报中，IMF主席拉加德(Christine Lagarde)确认，希腊方面已经同意在本周四(4月9日)时如期偿还其应偿付的的IMF到期借款。
此前，拉加德于美国当地时间周日(4月5日)会见了来访的希腊财长瓦鲁法基斯(Yanis Varoufakis)，并希腊政府改革计划进行了非正式磋商。拉加德在在随后发布的公报中表示，她已与瓦鲁法基斯就当前希腊局势的进展交换了看法，仍双方都同意，继续强化开展有效的合作将符合各方的利益。同时，她强调称，希腊局势面临的持续不确定性状况并不符合该国自身的利益，因此，她本人对希腊方面确认能够在4月9日如期偿还到期债务的状况表示欢迎。
拉加德同时表示，IMF关于希腊的评估审查工作，以及各方在布鲁塞尔欧盟总部就希腊救助条款的协商，将在周一再度恢复。而她同时称，IMF仍致力于与希腊政府一同帮助该国在经济和就业增长方面重返正轨。
此前，希腊财长瓦鲁法基斯也已在周日的会谈中表示，希腊将尽一切努力来满足其国际债权人所提出的要求，并打算进行全面性的天翻地覆的改革。他强调，希腊希腊“有钱”偿还将于4月9日到期的4.58亿欧元IMF债务，但若4月9日未偿还，也不会构成技术性违约，因还有30天的宽限期。
