美元維持反彈 黃金避險沖高
現貨黃金截止至2020年1月4日2：00收盤于1547.7美元/盎司，上週五黃金受避險消息影響，整體依舊維持強勢的上漲行情，價格從1528美元/盎司附近位置起漲，直至晚間美盤時段攀升至1550美元/盎司附近位置，整體漲幅高達22美元左右。
美伊衝突升級：特朗普政府內部對上周打死一名伊朗高級將領的決定沒有懷疑，而對德黑蘭採取的任何行動都將是“合法的”。蓬佩奧接受美國廣播公司（ABC）“本周”節目採訪時表示，我們將在體制內行事。我看到我們的計畫了，每個目標都是“合法的”。在緊張局勢升級後，美國國務院要求美國公民應立即離開伊拉克；在伊朗威脅要報復之後，從紐約到加州的官員紛紛表示正在加強安全措施。美國增強在中東地區的軍力部署，計畫向科威特調派約2800名第82空降師士兵。
ISM製造業降低：週五報告顯示，12月美國供應管理學會(ISM)的採購經理人指數(ISM)從48.1下降至47.2，連續第五個月下降，這是該ISM指數自2009年6月以來創下的最低水準，也是過去九個月中的第八次下跌。
