風險市場哀嚎遍野 美元走弱黃金狂歡
現貨黃金市場2018年10月12日3點整收盤於1224美元/盎司，較前一交易日大幅上漲32.3美元/盎司；現貨白銀亦有相當幅度的拉升，報14.53美元/盎司。
現貨黃金王者歸來：10月11日在北美市場再度開盤後，恐慌情緒仍然難以消除，雖然美股在早盤一度掙扎試圖轉跌為漲，但更多拋壓旋即來襲，道指時段內最大跌幅仍達到670點之巨。而除了股市之外，風險商品市場在日內也是哀鴻遍野，原油價格在需求成疑的背景下繼續暴跌模式。美元也繼續無情地遭受投資者拋棄，而在此情況下，被打入冷宮已久的黃金則終於成了市場上的焦點，日內一度勁升2.5%。
EIA原油庫存大增超預期：北京時間週四10月11日23:00，美國能源資訊署公佈的數據顯示，美國截至10月5日當周EIA除卻戰略儲備的商業原油庫存增加598.70萬桶至4.1億桶；汽油庫存增加95.10萬桶；精煉油庫存減少266.60萬桶；庫欣地區原油庫存增加235.90萬桶；數據公佈後，油價短線直線下挫0.70美元，美油一度刷新日內新低至71.08美元/桶。
