炒黄金隔夜利息是指当天内炒黄金的投资者还没有平掉头寸，交易单经历一天的收盘价后，持仓到第二天，这就产生了炒黄金的隔夜利息，不管投资者买多还是卖空，交易单统一按照当天的收市价登记，相应的利率和过夜天数来支付炒黄金隔夜利息。
根据不同的炒黄金平台供应商而言，收取的炒黄金隔夜利息也是不同的。有的平台做多单要付利息，空单则返还利息。有些平台则不管多单还是空单，一律都要收取利息，这要按每个平台的具体使用规定去遵守。
凡客户持仓于周末过市须收取周五、周六和周日这三天的利息，如果投资者在周五收市前平仓，则不需要被贵金属交易平台商收取周末隔夜利息。一般伦敦金和伦敦银的隔夜利息分别为：买入——1.25%、卖出——0.75%，每手1天需要支付的炒黄金隔夜利息约为4美元。
炒黄金隔夜利息的计算公式：当天收市价*合约单位*手数*利率*（1/360）=隔夜利息费，
隔夜利息在MT4交易平台上“利息”栏中显示。负(-)利息表示客户要付出利息，正(+)利息表示客户会收取利息。不同的公司对隔夜利息可能有不同的规定。
下面举例子说明：
有客户在贵金属交易平台开仓并买入1手伦敦金，交易方向为多单，假设当天收盘价为1200美元，过夜1天后，该客户需要支付的炒黄金隔夜利息费用为
1200美元*100盎司*1手*1.25%（利率）*（1/360）=4.1667美元。
在大田贵金属，如不是即日平仓之合约，交易平台会以延长交易处理，以完成买卖交易后第2个交易日开始计算按本公司所定之各种贵金属存/欠息率计算应有利息。计算利息时间：夏令时翌日凌晨3：00，冬令时翌日凌晨4:00。
另外，投资香港金的散户，将有香港金合约的隔夜利息收取，在超过翌日的早市11时以后，将会把未平仓的港金合约定义为过夜漂单，需要加收一定的港金过夜利息，利息费=当日港金利息值+仓租（20元/天）
假设在低息的状态下，多单客户需支付的港金过夜利息为当日港金利息值-20，空单客户需支付的港金过夜利息为当日港金利息值+20。
