二、避免长时间盯盘
每个交易市场都不一定时刻出现行情，伦敦金市场也是一样的，即使它的价格时刻波动，但是也一定时刻出现可以盈利的行情。
举例：当出现横盘整理的时候，伦敦金行情可以在1美元/盎司内上下浮动。如果投资者在看好后市趋势下单之后出现这类型的行情，一直盯盘难免会让投资者觉得烦躁，这时，就可以设置止盈止损，把能接受的亏损和看好的盈利都设好，就可以不用耽搁投资者的时间了。
三、让止损实现更大盈利
在投资者看好伦敦金后市走势而下单时，可以随着价格的波动不断递高止损，而当止损价大于等于建仓价时，那么不但可以实现保本，甚至可以博取更大的盈利。
举例：A先生在1180设置空单，盈利设为1175，止损设为1185；此时，行情在持续下跌，已经到达盈利点位1175。但A先生此时想看好未来的金价或者会继续下跌，并设想把止盈扩大为1177，然后设置止损为1183，通过修改止损，不但可以让投资者的盈利提高，同时可以缩小止损范围，放心地等待金价的波动，那么即使金价反弹到止损价平单，投资者也不会亏损。
