1、市场行为包含一切信息：”市场行为包含一切信息”这句话形成了技术分析的基石。除非完全理解和接受这个第一前提的重要性，否则其他前提的意义不大。所有技术分析人士真正主张的是，价格行为应当反映供求关系的变化。如果需求大于供给，现货白银价格应上涨。如果供给大于需求，价格应下跌。这种行为是所有经济预测和基本预测的基础。所以，技术分析人士把这句话倒过来得出结论，如果价格上涨，那么无论出于什么具体原因，需求必定超过了供给，而且基本面必定看涨。如果价格看跌，那么基本面必定走熊。
2、长期形态比短期形态更重要：短期的走势是在相对较小的区间中运动的，也容易受到各种各样因素的影响而随时变化。所以，投资者把握银价的短期走势难度较大，容易陷入繁多的白银升跌因素中而迷失方向。如果在分析短期银价走势前对长期的走势有一个透彻的认识，做到胸有成竹，那么投资者就可以俯瞰短期走势，抓住主要矛盾，做出正确的分析判断。
