1、位置比形态更重要：深入研究技术分析会发现，技术分析有无法的法则。但如果这些法则不结合现货白银价格的位置形态来分析，那么这些法则就都成了空中楼阁，没有任何的意义。如”头肩底”形态是一个非常经典的底部反转形态，它通常出现在银价的底部区域，但如果在银价的高价区出现一个“头肩底”形态，那么成熟的投资者宁可退出市场观望，也决不会相信此形态。因为“在高位最可能出现头部，在低部最可能出现底部”是现货白银套利研究中最朴素也是最有效的投资规律。
2、技术分析预测与基本分析预测：技术分析主要研究市场行为，而基本分析则专注于导致价格上涨、下跌或持平的供求关系等经济力量。基本分析检验所有影响市场价格的相关因素，以确定市场的内在价值。内在价值就是根据供求规律基本面所表明的某物的实际价值。如果这个内在价值低于当前的市场价格，那么市价就过高，应该卖出。如果市价低于内在价值，那么市场就被低估了，应该买入。这两种市场预测方法都试图解决同样的问题，即确定价格可能运动的方向。它们只是从不同的方向处理问题。基本分析人士研究市场运动的成因，而技术分析人士研究其结果。
