纽约联储总裁：美联储升息步伐将相对缓慢

纽约联邦储备银行总裁杜德利5月20日表示，鉴于美国经济中的闲置产能正在抑制通胀，美国联邦储备委员会(美联储)在最终收紧货币政策时，应该有能力缓慢上调利率，他还暗示，美联储最终开始收紧政策时，可能高度依赖逆回购等新工具以帮助控制利率水平。
他表示，经济成长即将增强，通胀率应“逐步升向”2%的联储目标，但不大可能迅速攀升。
在持续超过五年的高度宽松货币政策后，美联储正面临普洛瑟等通胀强硬派的压力，后者担心联储政策可能会令通胀激升。联储官员们最密切关注的核心物价指数在3月仅上升1.2%；虽然4月失业率大幅下降至6.3%，但仍远高于多数官员认为与充分就业相符的5.2%-5.6%区间。
