英国政府证实皇家邮政IPO计划

英国政府周四证实，未来几周将通过IPO方式出售持有的皇家邮政大多数股份，这将成为该国数十年以来最大规模的私有化交易之一。
皇家邮政每天处理大约5,800万份邮件和包裹，这一规模低于5年前的8,400万份。英国商务大臣凯布尔(Vince Cable)表示，私有化后，皇家邮政将继续每周营业6天，提供单一价格服务。
凯布尔称，这无论是对皇家邮政还是该公司的员工和客户，都是重要的一天。
英国政府将出售的股份规模和价值均未披露，不过金融数据公司Dealogic之前曾估计本次IPO对皇家邮政的估值大约为25亿英镑（合37亿美元）。本次IPO规模将超过2006年军工产品公司Qinetiq Group PLC和1996年铁路网运营公司Railtrack的IPO规模，后二者的IPO规模分别为13亿英镑和30亿英镑。
皇家邮政大约15万名符合条件的员工将免费获得该公司大约10%的股份。本次私有化将创建近30年来英国规模最大的员工持股计划。
其余股份将出售给机构投资者和英国公众。
