美元持續走低，金價再創新高

12月31日，現貨黃金走至新高位，市場擔心美國總統在2019年的最後一天會破壞有所緩和的國際貿易局勢，吸引了黃金買盤，同時也限制了避險貴金屬的損失，同時疲弱的美元走勢也支撐勒金價。
特朗普政府上周日對伊朗支援的一個民兵組織發動空襲後，警告可能採取“進一步行動”。該組織被指責在伊拉克軍事基地殺害了一名美國文職承包商。
分析師表示，推動金價上漲的另一個因素是，美國在伊拉克和敘利亞對伊朗支援的組織發動了空襲。如果中東地緣政治緊張局勢加劇，投資者將有更多理由增加黃金配置，否則，在股市屢創新高之際，金價上漲就沒有什麼意義了。
此外，美元走軟也支撐金價上漲。週二美元創下7月3日以來新低至96.597。析師表示，推動黃金上漲的主要因素之一是美元走軟。加上實物買盤在年底出手，也推動了金價上揚。但Yan指出，金價上行空間有限，因為美聯儲在連續三次降息後已經暫停本輪寬鬆週期，我們預計美聯儲在2020年將按兵不動。
分析師表示，我們預計，國際金價仍將保持在重要支撐位1500美元上方。OANDA亞太區高級市場分析師Jeffrey Halley表示，市場流動性下降，金價可能在較低成交量的情況下出現飆升，下一阻力位在1535美元，投資者須對沖相關風險。
黃金通常與股票等被視為高風險資產的走勢相反，但今年黃金表現強勁。相比之下，道鐘斯工業股票平均價格指數(Dow Jones Industrial DJIA)今年迄今的漲幅約為22%，標準普爾500指數(S&P 500)過去12個月的漲幅超過28%。過去三個月美元走軟令黃金和其他與美元掛鉤的大宗商品受益。衡量美元價值的指標之一洲際交易所美元指數(ICE U.S. Dollar Index)本季度下跌2.7%，儘管該指數今年以來上漲了0.5%。
