贵金属是在通涨环境下的保值品，走势跟通货膨胀形影不离，一般来说，只要出现通货膨胀的情况下。贵金属价格也会随之上涨。而石油的价格上涨，同时也就意味着通货膨胀会随之而来，那么贵金属市场也会随之上涨。比如9月中旬沙特石油基地遭遇无人机袭击，石油产量市场告急，即刻就刺激了美元波动下滑，石油、黄金、白银等保值产品的市场价格也随之水涨船高。
2、美元走势
因为贵金属的计价、定价，都是用美元作单位的，所以美元的涨跌，跟贵金属的价格同样息息相关的。通常，贵金属的价格一般情况下都和美元呈负相关的关系，也就是说美元贬值，那么贵金属的价格会上升，反之如果美元增值，那么贵金属就会降价，投资者需要关注美元汇率、美联储利率政策等。比如最近，美联储公布降息25个基点的政策，整体降息幅度小于原本市场预期，所以小幅刺激了美元波动上涨，同时也引起了金价跌幅超过1%。
3、欧美各国时政
一般来说，欧美各国发布的政策调整，同样会刺激投资者的避险意识，当市场经济不乐观时，投资者就会偏向投资具有保值功能的贵金属产品，刺激贵金属市场价格上涨。反之，当市场经济前景乐观时，贵金属的市价就会随之下滑。近期最好的例子，就是英国议会最近在反复讨论的“无协议脱欧”，如果议会最终结果是执行无协议脱欧，则会引起投资者对欧元市场的恐慌，偏向投资石油、黄金白银等保值产品，造成欧元下滑、贵金属价格上涨的局面。
