举个栗子，你准备以1500美元/盎司的买入价做多单，但指令发出后，最后成交的价格却不是你原先定好的1500美元，而是1500.1美元，那这高于报价的1点，就称之为正向滑点；可如果成交价是1499.9美元，那就是负向滑点。
假如你在市价平台交易，选择在1500美元/盎司时选择做多1手，设置止损价格为1498美元，万一这时金价逆势从1500美元跳空至1490美元，止损就会失效，平台会按跳空后的1490美元/盎司来交易，跟设定的止损价格1498美元相比，滑点了8美元。亏损也扩大了800美元。
滑点的产生，也有很多原因：
①网络延迟：交易平台的服务器不能第一时间，因应实时市场价格执行投资指令所造成的延迟现象；
②市场波动：国际上第一时间发生的一些大事，可能会引起金价的剧烈波动，导致投资者订单没法在最适合的价格成交；
③异常滑点：不正规的交易平台故意做手脚，采用恶意操作而导致的恶性交易事故。
由于滑点的主要表现，是系统不能准确执行用户的价格订单，而且具有不可避免性，这会严重影响投资者的止损、止盈。所以，我们建议大家尽量选择带有限价交易功能的平台投资，能最大程度地减少滑点带来的干扰，提高投资安全性。
