ADP就业数据公司副总裁表示，3月ADP数据录得18个月以来最慢增速。尽管部分服务业显示出持续的动能，我们仍观察到货物制造领域出现了明显疲软。
ADP报告显示，3月建筑业就业人数减少0.6万人，2月增加2.5万人；3月制造业就业人数减少0.2万人，2月增加1.7万人；3月贸易/运输/公用事业就业人数新增0.9万人，2月增加1.4万人；3月金融服务业就业人数减少0.1万人，2月增加2.1万人；3月专业/商业服务就业人数新增4.1万人，2月增加4.9万人。
分析师认为，随着经济正在努力应对衰退的财政刺激、贸易不确定性以及美联储紧缩政策的滞后影响，企业招聘谨慎。如果就业增长进一步减弱，失业率将开始上升。就业市场疲软，大多数行业和公司规模的就业增长都显着放缓。
