美聯儲提前結束縮表，提振風險資產

交易商押注認為，在美聯儲結束3月21日開始的兩天會議之前，美國國債收益率曲線將趨陡，儘管全球經濟增長方面的憂慮繼續令利率受限。
分析師表示，這種押注可能在一定程度上反映出交易商的短期交易策略，即市場預期美聯儲暗示，將對資產負債表縮減程式作出調整。交易商同時買入短期國債，並賣出較長期國債，以期從美聯儲提早結束4萬億美元資產組合正常化中獲利，這可能擴大短期和長期債券收益率之間的利差。

今年1月，美聯儲在利率問題上尋求更為耐心的政策。此後，投資者一直在等待，美聯儲在對待危機時期投資組合方面，也能作出類似的轉變。美聯儲高級官員表示，如果縮減資產負債表出現問題，他們願意對如何調整這一政策持有開放的態度。這似乎改變了他們長期持有的觀點，即美聯儲資產組合的縮減是“自動”的。
分析師表示，美聯儲任何停止縮減資產負債表的暗示，都可能提高股票等風險資產的流動性，並導致其出現上漲。反過來，這應該會抑制對長期債券等避險資產的需求，從而提高其收益率。
