鴿派發言施壓美指 黃金上破1200一線
國際現貨黃金截止至2018年8月25日3:00報收1205.6美元/盎司，黃金上周五一路沖高突破了1200美元/盎司一線，至晚間23時最高價為1208.5美元/盎司，隨後有小幅回落。現貨白銀報14.8美元/盎司，白銀同樣沖高回落。
鮑威爾央行年會鴿聲嘹亮：8月24日22:00美聯儲主席鮑威爾在傑克遜霍爾央行年會上討論經濟和貨幣政策時表示，沒有明顯信號表明通脹加速超過2%，看起來沒有很高的經濟過熱風險，講話內容偏鴿派，導致紐市盤中美元大幅下挫，一度跌至95關口，刷新日內新低至95.01。
澳大利亞總理頻換：上周五（8月24日）經過兩天的被“逼宮”行動後，澳大利亞前總理特恩布爾，終究以失敗告終，主要執政黨自由黨黨首莫裏森當選澳大利亞總理，24日晚，莫裏森在在坎培拉宣誓就職，接替當天宣佈辭職的特恩布爾，正式成為澳大利亞第30任總理。
