获利回吐，一般是指在价格上扬一段时间后，投资者卖掉手头持有的资产以实现获利。广义而言，获利回吐是指结清头寸以实现获利。获利回吐，所作的交易是与开仓方向相反的交易，因此，获利回吐与止盈类似，但获利回吐更多的是投资者主动的、即时的行为，一般按市价成交;而止盈一般为订单，是预先设定好的具体价格。
因获利回吐时的操作与开盘方向相反，因而投资者的获利回吐行为，给贵金属产生的影响，与止盈类似，同样会给银价朝着原有方向运行带来阻挠，表现为上涨过程中的回落和下跌过程中的反弹。
白银投资操作方法：空头回补
空头回补，是指贵金属市场上原本做空的投资者(看跌先卖出)在交易方向和持有的头寸反向发展时被迫平仓或反手做多(买入)的行为，会让银价低位反弹，或在上涨时加速走高。
由于原来投资者是做空，方向是卖出，平仓时就需要将其买入。这样一来，原来的空头变成了多头，对价格上涨起了推波助澜的作用，让银价在下跌时止跌反弹，在上涨时加速上涨。简而言之，空头回补，都会帮助银价走高，区别只在于是下跌之后的低位反弹，还是上涨过程中的加速上涨。
