在实物黄金投资市场中，有一种很常见的现象，就是一旦金价下跌得比较厉害的时候，大家就会纷纷购买实物黄金，但其实这种做法并不明智，金价的涨跌没有人能控制，你并不知道现在的价格是否到了底部，尤其是市场利空因素较强劲的时候。因此，在金价大跌的时候，如果没有看到市场回暖的消息，不购买实物金是比较明智。
投资双向交易产品
在金价大跌，且市场行情总体表现为利空时，可以通过交易双向交易的黄金投资产品来获利，如伦敦金、黄金TD等。这些可以双向交易的产品，在金价下跌的时候，投资者可以通过在价格相对较高的位置上做空（先卖出后买入）来赚取差价利润。
这么看来，其实在炒黄金时选择双向交易的产品会更有优势，因为单向获利损失了金价下跌获利的可能，而金价维持一段下跌趋势的时间也不会太短，那么投资者面临的投资成本就无疑增大了。
