数据显示，美元指数在2014年累计涨幅超过12%，今年以来则累计上涨近7%。7月14日，亚市盘中，美元指数最高击破97点关口，再度冲击百点。
“美国经济持续复苏，引发美联储年内加息预期增强，同时希腊债务危机持续发酵，美元避险需求增强，由此推动美元走强。”兴证期货高级研究员施海说。
对于美联储加息时点的问题备受市场关注。美联储主席耶伦此前称，在2015年稍晚的某个时间点开始加息合适，预料之外的局势发展恐怕会推迟FOMC首次加息的时间，而FOMC首次加息本身仅仅会“非常小地影响到”货币宽松的水平。耶伦预计美联储货币政策正常化之路将会是循序渐进的，不应当过分强调FOMC的加息时间点，真正重要的是整个加息的过程，宽松政策只应当循序渐进地结束。耶伦将在7月15日向美国众议院金融服务委员会进行半年度证词陈述。
业内人士表示，美元走强的趋势很可能重新回到投资者视野，上周五美联储主席耶伦在克利夫兰表示，美联储仍然在年内加息的轨道上，耶伦的言论巩固了市场对于美联储年内将会实施数年内首次加息的预期。耶伦将会在本周再次讲话，美联储官员们近期的讲话将会成为市场焦点。
