一、18KGP什么意思
18KGP是合金仿真首饰的标志，具体是指镀或包金层是18K金的镀金或包金首饰。这些首饰一般是合金或白铜镀上白金，但不含银成分，长期使用容易褪色，使用周期大概在1年之内。
二、18KGP的组成
其由两种标识组成，一种是18K，K代表含金量，即黄金的含量，K数与含金量的关系式为：
Au wt%=K/24×100%。其中，每K含金量为4.166%，即18K含75%黄金。
另一只标识为GP，其是Gold Plape的缩写，商业上俗称为锻压金。这类型产品的金属大多以磷铜为主要材料在高温下锻压而成，然后在其上面覆盖镀金层，我们就是根据这个镀金层的不同厚度分为镀金和包金两种。其中，镀金金层厚度为1咪左右，包金为3咪左右。
三、K金的种类
在国际上流行的K金首饰各种颜色都有，常见的一般有白色和黄色。其根据颜色可以分为颜色金合金和白色金合金。其中，使用最多的颜色金合金是Au-Ag-Cu(-Zn)系合金；白色金合金大多是Au-Ag-Ni(Cu、Zn)和Au-Ag-Pd（-Zn、Cu）系合金。
黄金混入25%的钯或锌、镍等，就会成为白色，因此白K金的主要组成成分还是黄金。从这里就可以看出，白金和铂金不是同一概念，消费者在购买铂金时要谨防奸商用白金鱼目混珠，欺诈消费者利益。
四、18KGP的价格
消费者在购买18KGP首饰时要注意，18KGP是仿真首饰，也就说其本身是不含金银等贵金属的，其只是在铜等其他金属的合金上镀了一层18K金而已，价值是较为低廉的，价格一般只从几元至几十元不等。
