美联储宣布继续缩减QE规模，从4月份开始从650亿美元购债规模降至550亿美元，并在随后发表言论放弃6.5%的失业率加息门槛并不是因为其没有效果，预计FOMC将在2015年秋季加息，并重申QE项目有可能在今年秋季结束，美元指数出现大幅度反弹回到80.00关口上方，以美元计价的黄金遭受打压，与此同时在克里米亚问题得到终结之后，黄金避险买盘减少，美联储利率决议以及耶伦表态之后，大量资金流出黄金市场。
