现货黄金每日的波动至少也有近10美元，一个月的波动幅度近百美元，若加上交易杠杆，每日投资账户可能会出现至少1000美元的盈亏波动，再加上每手1000美元的交易保证金，若资金量不是很大的账户，在没有盯盘的时候，很容易因此而被强制平仓，除非您能保证一直盯盘。
可能有些投资者会看到月波动幅度那么大，会想到若能捉到三分二，那么一个月的盈利可能高达6000美元，十分可观。但是小编要提醒大家，这要有较高的分析能力，否则您要如何判断您的入市点位是不是这个月的低位或高位呢？若有更低或更高的位置，您是先止损呢还是让单子飘着呢？飘着的话您的账户又是否有足够的资金量呢？
现货黄金有过夜成本
现货黄金在交易过程中，除了点差之外，还有一个交易成本就是过夜利息，其是若交易单持仓超过一日后，交易商按一定标准逐日收取的保管费用。持仓越久，该费用越大。
举个例子，以收盘价1160美元/盎司，多单利率-2%来计算持仓1手现货黄金的仓息如下所示。
