美国将拍卖战略储油 原油期货下跌2%

纽约商业交易所（NYMEX）4月原油期货3月12日下跌2.04美元或2%成为每桶97.99美元，因美国将拍卖战略储油的影响，欧洲ICE期货交易所（ICE Futures Europe）4月布兰特原油下跌0.53美元或0.5%成为每桶108.02美元。两者的价差由前一交易日的8.52美元扩大至10.03美元。美国将举办1990来第一次战备储油拍卖，首次试卖将释出500万桶原油，美国能源部表示，有鉴于近来国内原油产量充沛，战备储油系统有必要做调整，试卖已筹备数月之久，现在时间成熟正好可以应付炼油厂的需求，并同时测试系统应急能力。市场则认为美国想藉舒缓油价释放讯息警告俄罗斯，别想在乌克兰危机中抢便宜。
美国能源信息局（EIA）3月11日在月报「短期能源展望」（STEO）当中预估，2014以及2015年，世界石油与液体燃料的供应量均将年增每日130万桶，前月预估为分别年增每日170万桶与140万桶。主要的供应增长是来自于石油输出国组织（OPEC）以外的国家–特别是美洲，主要的产量增长来自于美国、加拿大与巴西。其中，美国与加拿大今明两年合计的日均产量可望分别年增130万桶与120万桶。
今明两年全球石油及液体燃料的日均消费量则预估分别年增120万桶与140万桶，前月预估为分别年增每日130万桶与140万桶；主要是来自于经合组织（OECD）以外国家的需求带动，特别是中国大陆–今明两年的日均需求预估将分别年增40万桶与43万桶。石油输出国组织（OPEC）3月12日在月报当中将2013年世界石油日需求量增长预估较前月报告上调7万桶至年增105万桶，主要因为美洲与欧洲的经合组织（OECD）国家去年第四季消费强于预期的影响，非洲的消费也有增长；2014年需求则预估将年增114万桶，此较前月报告的预估上调5万桶。2013年OPEC以外国家的原油供应量预估年增每日133万桶，2014年供应量增长预估将持续增加每日133万桶，主要受到美国、加拿大、巴西等产量增长的影响，挪威、英国与墨西哥等国的产量则预期减少。
