儘管上周黃金價格還是出現了沖高回落，但是整體來說還是錄得了漲幅，已經是連續兩個星期的回升，這主要是因為目前市場相當擔心持續高通脹的局面，而黃金具有抗通脹的特質，所以引發更多投資者尋求避險。這種情況在上個星期更加明顯，因為通過多項的經濟資料以及原油價格飆升，加上供應鏈的問題，使得高通脹很可能會持續一段時間。
週五衡量市場通脹預期的5年期盈虧平衡通脹率攀升逾9個基點至3.007%，為自2002年開始記錄該資料以來最高水準。供應鏈中斷時間可能比任何人想像的要持續更久，黃金和白銀市場終於意識到全球通脹正在上升這一點，且這可能不僅是短暫趨勢。歷史表明，當消費者和生產者價格上漲時，貴金屬等硬資產的通脹避險性質更受青睞。
美聯儲縮債在即施壓多頭

美聯儲主席鮑威爾週五表示，美聯儲應開始通過縮減資產購買來減少對經濟的支持，但還不應觸碰利率措施。儘管美國非農資料連續兩個月大幅低於預期，但嚴峻的通脹形勢令美聯儲不得不走到這一步。由此可見，下個月如無意外就會開始縮減每月1200億美元的公債和抵押貸款支援證券購買規模，並在2022年中之前完成。
綜上所述，本周的黃金價格在技術面上有好消息的，如果可以保持目前的勢頭，是有機會再次站穩1800大關的上方。不過周初的表現會相當關鍵，如果進一步回落的話，就可能會加大難度。另外市場基本上的利空條件，也要觀察消化的情況，當前正是高通脹的利多與美聯儲政策的利空在互相博弈當中。
