美元稍歇金價結束六連跌，鮑威爾即將亮相
周二（6月22日）亞洲時段，現貨黃金小幅上漲，交投于1785附近。周一（6月21日）金價終結六連跌，因美元指數大跌0.5%。另外，黃金的重要競爭對手比特幣暴跌，美聯儲主席鮑威爾和三號人物威廉姆斯立場都偏鴿，這些因素支撐著金價低位反彈。不過，其他一些官員則主張收緊貨幣政策，美聯儲逆回購使用量的不斷攀升也暗示了美聯儲可能更快地縮減購債，這對金價造成重要的打擊。
比特幣暴跌形成死亡交叉
隨著一連串中國打擊比特幣的新聞引發比特幣價格大跌，技術圖形正在發出一個不祥的信號。
比特幣形成了一個死亡交叉，即50日均線跌破了200日均線。這是一個通常受到密切關注的技術信號，暗示更多痛苦可能即將到來。
隨著比特幣過去兩個月下跌40%，許多分析人士已經預料到死亡交叉的形成。
比特幣周一跌至兩周低點，此前中國宣布約談支付寶和部分銀行，要求不得為虛擬貨幣交易提供相關服務。
比特幣作為黃金重要的競爭對手，它的下跌將令黃金市場受益上漲。
鮑威爾和威廉姆斯立場偏鴿
美聯儲主席鮑威爾表示，一旦供應失衡得到解決，上升的通脹率應該會向美聯儲2%的目標回落。
鮑威爾在為周二向衆議院新冠病毒危機特別委員會作證準備的書面發言中說：“近幾個月通貨膨脹已顯著上升，” 原因是油價上漲，且隨著美國經濟重新開放支出出現“反彈”。
他說。“隨著這些暫時的供應影響減弱，通脹預計將朝著我們的長期目標回落。”
紐約聯儲主席威廉姆斯也表示：“我預計，隨著價格逆轉，以及經濟重新開放導致的短期失衡結束，通脹將從今年的3%左右下降到明年和2023年的接近2%。”
威廉姆斯周一在為一次在線演講準備的講話中表示：“毫無疑問通脹前景存在很大的不確定性，我將密切關注數據。我的觀點是，通脹飙升主要反映了經濟出人意料快速開放的暫時影響。”
威廉姆斯表示：“我們必須認識到，許多價格上漲只是去年大流行病首次爆發時我們看到的大幅下降的逆轉。一旦這些價格完全適應重新開放的經濟，它們就不會再以最近的高速度繼續上漲，它們對整體通脹的影響應該會消退。”
如果通脹的提升被證明是短暫的，美聯儲縮緊貨幣政策的緊迫感將降低，這有利于金價上漲。
