數據疲軟美元跌不休，黃金觸1900後或“得寸進尺”
在周三（5月26日）亞洲時段，現貨黃金持穩于1895上方。周二（5月26日）現貨黃金漲近1%，創1月8日以來新高，因美元指數及美債收益率再度下滑，且周二公布的數據普遍有所下降。另一方面，市場對加息預期再度提前，美聯儲副主席克拉裏達提到可能將在接下來幾次會議上展開縮減購債的討論，這限制了金價整體的漲幅。
美元指數及美債收益率下滑
美元兌主要貨幣周二延續近兩個月的跌勢，一度創下1月7日以來新低，10年期美國國債收益率下降2.69%，跌至逾兩周低位，因美聯儲官員發表講話支持保持政策不變，盡管當前存在通脹壓力。
大田環球分析師表示，過去一個月，許多其他國家的利率已經攀升，使其貨幣兌美元更具競爭力。他補充稱，目前的前景是這種差異將持續下去。“在調整和重新校準貨幣政策方面，美聯儲似乎落後于其他幾家央行。”
自3月底以來，美元一直在下跌，因人們相信，由于其他經濟體開始更快地從疫情中複蘇，美國的低利率將推動資金流向海外，以追求獲利。
Altavest的市場管理合夥人Michael Armbruster表示，金價是對美國債券收益率下降做出的反應。由于通脹率飙升與美聯儲極端鴿派政策，實質收益率不斷大幅下降。黃金交易者目前面臨的問題是，名義收益率能在多久的時間內無視飙升的通脹率。我們認為未來幾周內名義收益率很有可能追漲，這是金價短期內的一個風險因素。
美元指數及美債收益率的下滑將提振黃金對市場的吸引力。
美國5月份消費者信心指數今年以來首次下滑
根據周二的一份報告，世界大型企業研究會5月份消費者信心指數降至117.2，4月數值被向下修正至117.5。調查的經濟學家預估中值為118.8。
消費者信心雖然有所回落，但仍徘徊在疫情期高點附近。隨著經濟緩步回升至疫情爆發前的水平，物價上漲和失業率上升可能抑制消費者信心的進一步改善。
世界大型企業研究會負責經濟指標的高級主管Lynn Franco表示，“消費者對經濟現狀的評價提高說明第二季度經濟增長依然強勁，但是人們對短期前景的樂觀情緒有所回落，這主要源于他們認為今後幾個月經濟增長將減速，勞動力市場料疲軟”。
周二報告顯示，反映對未來一年通脹預期的指標小幅升高。本月早些時候 ，美國密歇根大學的消費者信心調查顯示 ，消費者預測未來一年通脹率將達到4.6%，為十年來最高水平。
