金價轉跌，中國經濟前景被看好

1月21日，由於中國新型冠狀病毒肺炎感染人數增加，經濟環境在春節假日期間受到一定一直，同時IMF對全球經濟增長預期有所下調，但中國經濟前景受到全球市場的廣泛看好，金價有所回落。
目前，世衛組織(WHO)尚不建議採取任何旅行或貿易限制措施。但世衛組織(WHO)將在週三(1月22日)召集一個緊急專家委員會會議，研判此次疫情是否構成國際衛生緊急狀況，以及應該採取什麼措施。
中國外交部發言人耿爽在週二的發佈會上透露，北京時間週三(1月22號)晚上，中方將應世衛組織邀請，與其他受疫情影響的國家一道，參加《國際衛生條例》突發事件委員會會議。與會各國、世衛組織以及有關專家將在會上分享疫情資訊，並對疫情進行科學研判。
國際貨幣基金組織(IMF)週一下修2020年全球經濟增長預估。IMF預計，2020年全球經濟增長率為3.3%，2019年則是創下10年前金融危機以來的最小增幅2.9%。2019及2020年的估計值都較10月時的預估下修0.1個百分點。
德國央行表示，由於出口和資本投資受到影響，德國的製造業“在廣泛領域出現大幅下滑”。製造業是德國確保經濟繁榮的支柱產業，但承受著美國總統特朗普發起的貿易衝突困擾。
IMF說：“這些初步的企穩跡象可能會持續下去，最終會強化仍具彈性的消費者支出和已有改善的企業支出之間的連接。”IMF曾指出，圍繞關稅的不確定性以及其對企業投資的負面影響是限制增長的最大因素。
出席同場發佈會的商務部綜合司司長儲士家則表示，中美第一階段協議符合WTO規則和市場原則，也符合包括中美在內的全球生產者消費者和投資者的利益；下一步中美雙方將共同努力，落實好第一階段協議，促進中美經貿關係更好的發展，為世界經濟發展貢獻正能量。
2019年中國外商直接投資規模再創歷史新高，穩居發展中國家首位、全球第二位。因貿易衝突令外界原本擔心的大規模產業轉移、利潤下降並未出現。中國經濟增長前景得到國際組織認可，緩解了市場緊繃的避險神經，金價盤中未能繼續走高。
