製造業數據大好，但金價探底回升

7月1日，美國公佈6月PMI製造業數據，數據結果大幅好於市場預期，但由於之前金價已經出現了明顯下跌，但在指標公佈後，現貨黃金小幅下挫後出現反彈走高，美元指數則出現大幅度降低。
具體數據顯示，美國6月ISM製造業PMI錄得52.60，預期值和前值分別為49.70和43.10。美國6月ISM製造業就業指數也較前值大幅躍升10個點至42.10。
市場此前就預期，美國6月製造業活動從4月觸及的11年低點持續復蘇，似乎預示最糟糕時期已經結束且製造業開始企穩。4月時新冠疫情令全球很多地區的經濟活動陷入癱瘓。
6月中旬，美聯儲為中型企業提供的主街貸款計畫剛剛開始。美國財長努欽稱:“下個月，你將看到向經濟再注入超過1萬億美元，這將產生重大影響。我們準備向國會要求更多資金來支持美國工人。”
美國失業率到2020年底應能降至10%以下，因在新冠疫情導致的經濟停擺期間失業的工人正在重返工作崗位。斯卡利亞還表示，發放獎金來鼓勵員工重返工作崗位的想法值得研究。
但美國南部和西南部新冠感染病例重新激增，令一些市場人士感到擔憂。包括製造業在內的廣大美國企業正在進行第二波裁員，艱難應對疲弱的需求和斷裂的供應鏈，這支持了經濟從新冠疫情引發的衰退中復蘇的過程將是長期而艱難的觀點。
投資者也在等待備受關注的美國6月非農就業數據。該數據將提前一天至週四(7月2日)公佈，料顯示美國6月非農就業崗位增加309萬個，較5月份的250.9萬繼續回升。
儘管企業陸續復工複產，但就業市場依然低迷，3月21日當周以來，累計有逾4700萬人申領失業救濟。鮑威爾在美聯儲最近一次會議後的新聞發佈會上說：“這是一條漫長的道路，將需要一些時間。”
