全球經濟增長放緩，美元與避險貨幣走高
周一(8月16日)美元小幅上漲，包括澳元與加元在內的大宗商品貨幣隨油價下跌，因經濟增長有放緩迹象且冠狀病毒變種蔓延。金價延續上漲，現貨黃金刷新8月6日以來高點至1789.31美元/盎司，因對德爾塔變種的擔憂以及經濟數據疲軟促使投資者追捧避險資産；美債收益率和經通脹調整的實際收益率下跌，也提振黃金。美國WTI原油期貨收于一周來的最低點，分析師稱，美國新冠疫情重燃、經濟數據顯示經濟複蘇受阻，令油價承壓。
美聯儲羅森格倫：預計美聯儲實現通脹目標不會有困難
美聯儲官員森格倫表示，預計美聯儲在實現與前十年相比的2%的通脹目標時不會遇到困難。他預計美聯儲資産購買將于今年秋季開始逐步減少，考慮到供應的限制，美聯儲購買資産並沒有那麽有效，強勁的增長將證明美聯儲在2022年年中結束購買計劃是合理的，美聯儲的新指引需要結果（而非預測）來證明政策變化的合理性。從通脹方面來看，已經達到了縮債的標準，如果下一份就業報告表現強勁，則支持在9月實施縮債計劃，在秋季開始縮債可能是合適的，更傾向于等量縮減住房抵押貸款支持證券和國債
歐佩克+認為目前沒有必要在計劃之外向市場釋放更多石油
四位歐佩克+消息人士表示，歐佩克及其包括俄羅斯在內的盟友認為，盡管美國施壓要求增加原油産量以遏制油價上漲，但未來幾個月石油市場並不需要比計劃釋放的更多石油。歐佩克+在7月同意從8月開始每月增産40萬桶，直到目前580萬桶/天的減産完全停止。
6月美國最大“債主”日本今年罕見增持美債，中國持債四連降
日本6月繼續位居美國國債的最大海外持有國，增持111億美元至1.277萬億美元，是11個月裏第三次增持。中國大陸仍為美債第二大海外持有地，減持美債165億並連降四個月，總量至1.062萬億美元創八個月最低。
